Researchers have found
that music programs have a positive impact on child development for
children between birth and their primary school years in many of the
developmental domains. Music for Kids has developed three age
appropriate classes that encourage your kids to develop and explore
different aspects of music as they grow. Each class is designed to build
your child's music vocabulary while having a positive impact on their
child-development.
Bongo Babies, with babies joining as soon as 6 months, introduces your
child to many styles of music and to the sounds of many different
instruments. Singing, moving to music, finger rhymes, and playing
percussion instruments aid in the development of fine and large motor
skills as well as language and socialization skills.
For our 2-3 year olds, Tootin' Toddlers builds upon the curriculum of
our younger class by emphasizing teaching color through musical games
and the use of xylophones.
In our oldest group music class, Poppin' Preschoolers brings it all
together and the kids begin to play simple songs on the xylophone (by
color and note name). Children are also introduced to the beginnings of
musical notation and learn to beat out simple rhythms.
We also offer group instrument classes in
keyboard, violin, guitar and voice. Private instruction for piano,
guitar, violin, percussion and saxophone, as well as voice lessons are
also available. |

Classes have begun again, but don't worry. There's still time to
sign up and get
the all new music CD with original songs written and performed
by Miss Lori and Mister Joe is finally here! This first Musictime
for Kids CD will be included with each registration. We introduced some of the new songs
last session to rave reviews. Its taken a lot of hard work to
create and we can't wait to share the rest of it with you. We know
you're going to love it.
Please register and pay by Weds April 16th to ensure your class and time.
Miss Christine will be at Music for kids on Tuesdays & Wednesdays from
9am-4pm, excluding lunch hour. As always, you can pay over the
phone, in person or online. Take a

Please
note Saturday classes will only have 7 classes and begin on May 10th. No
Saturday classes on April 26th, May 3rd & June 7th.

for Saturday music class is $118.
